1 Purpose

This SOP establishes the process for creating legally-compliant transport manifests in Metrc and ensuring synchronization with Distru order data before delivery.

⚠️ COMPLIANCE CRITICAL

No cannabis product may leave the facility without a valid Metrc manifest. Transporting without a manifest is a serious compliance violation that can result in license suspension.

4 Regulatory Requirements

8 Procedure
⚠️ GOLDEN RULE

Create manifest in Metrc BEFORE loading vehicle. Never transport without printed manifest.

8.1 Pre-Manifest Checklist

Before Creating Manifest:

  • ✅ All orders for delivery route are fully picked and verified
  • ✅ Pick tickets have Metrc tag numbers written on them
  • ✅ Driver assigned and available
  • ✅ Vehicle inspection complete

8.2 Create Metrc Manifest

Step 1: Login to Metrc

  1. Go to metrc.com/ak → Login with Red Run credentials
  2. Select "Red Run Cannabis Cultivators" license (5a-19372)
  3. Navigate to Transfers → Licensed → Create Transfer

Step 2: Select Destination

  1. Search for destination by license number (from pick ticket)
  2. Verify business name matches customer
  3. Select delivery type: "Standard" or "Same Day"

Step 3: Add Packages

  1. Enter Metrc tag number (scan or type)
  2. Verify package details match pick ticket
  3. Enter quantity being transferred
  4. Repeat for all items on order

Step 4: Enter Transport Details

  1. Driver: Select from dropdown (must be registered in Metrc)
  2. Vehicle: Select registered vehicle
  3. Planned Route: Enter approximate route description
  4. Estimated Departure: Set to actual departure time
  5. Estimated Arrival: Add reasonable travel time

Step 5: Finalize & Print

  1. Review all entries for accuracy
  2. Click "Create Transfer"
  3. Print TWO copies of manifest
  4. One for driver, one for file

8.3 Distru Sync

Step 6: Update Distru

  1. Open order in Distru
  2. Enter Metrc manifest number in notes/tracking field
  3. Update order status to "Ready for Delivery"
  4. Verify all package tags match between systems
